GENERAL

CANYON FOOTBALL GAMES:  Hey COWBOYS!!  Our first home football game is this Friday night, September 25.  Here are a few reminders to students -- once you enter the football game and leave YOU MAY NOT RE-ENTER.  If you need a sweater, blanket, etc., remember to bring it in with you when you arrive.  SKATEBOARDS AND SCOOTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the stadium or parking lot—DO NOT BRING THEM WITH YOU!!  Since this is a school-sponsored event, the Canyon High School DRESS CODE will be strictly enforced.  ANY inappropriate attire (clothing, accessories, or headgear) will result in entrance refusal and possible removal if non-compliant.  Body paint and noise makers are also not allowed.  Thank you for your co-operation.

This will be the final day to receive your FREE  2011 HOODIE when you order your class ring!!

CAREER CENTER NEWS

CSUN VISITATION:  Attention Seniors:  Meet with an admissions representative from CSUN and learn about the Cal State system on Tues., 9/22 at 10:30 in the Library.  Pick up permission slips in the Career Center.

CAL STATE APPLICATION WORKSHOP:  Attention Seniors:  Are you thinking about applying to a Cal State School?  Attend the Cal State Application Workshop on Tuesday, 9/22 at 11:20 and learn about the application procedure.  Sign up in the Career Center!

YALE INFORMATION SESSION:  Students and parents are invited to attend a Yale Information Session at Calabasas High School on Thurs., 9/24 at 7:00 p.m.  For registration and directions please go to http://admissions.yale.edu/events.

MEETINGS

OPERATION US: New and returning members will be meeting in E3 at lunch on Wednesday, September 23rd to pass out permission slips for our upcoming training day.  If you are interested in participating in Operation US this year please join us!

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETICS CLUB is starting.  Come TODAY at lunch to G-206 for information about this new club.

SENIORS

SENIORS- A SCHOLARSHIP SEMINAR  will be presented by Canyon's Counselors in A-Lecture Hall during lunch TODAY. Come and learn how you can help yourself pay for a post-high school education

SAT PREP CLASS: Attention seniors-- you have less than 80 days until many college applications are due and there's a limited amount of SATs left.  Revolution Prep offers classes right here on Canyon's campus and cost less than half of the other big companies.  Classes start Saturday, 9-26, so sign up today at revolutionprep.com or stop by to see Ms. Jones in E5.
