GENERAL

CSF MEMBERSHIP LISTS are now posted outside of room C8.  If your name is on the list, you may pick up your membership card this week, Wednesday through Friday, during lunch.  NO CSF matters will be handled at any time other than lunch.

KEY CLUB:  Hey Key Clubbers---The hours are due for old members and everyone needs to turn in their registration sheet by September 18.

Win up to $7000 in scholarship money.  That's right, Seven Thousand Dollars.  The Castaic Lake Water Agency is sponsoring the Water Challenge Scholarship Program and there are over $15,000 in prizes.  Come to an informational meeting at 12:30 TODAY (Wednesday) in room K-5 to learn how YOU can be a winner and take advantage of this awesome opportunity.

DISNEYLAND TICKET RAFFLE:  Cowboys, are you ready for a trip to Disneyland?  There will be a raffle for a chance to win a set of 4 student tickets.  There are 15 sets, so you have 15 chances to win!  Raffle tickets are $1 each and you can buy them from any ASB member.  Tickets will be sold thru September 18.

HEY COWBOYS!  Want free donuts?  Come to J-1 at either brunch this week.  Monday, September 14 through Thursday, September 17 and give us your cell phone number.  We’ll send a text message with a password, and the first 40 to come back with the password will receive a free treat!!  It is that easy!

This will be the final day to receive your FREE  2011 HOODIE when you order your class ring!!  

SCHOOL PICTURES ARE HERE!  School Pictures can be picked up during brunch and lunch in the ASB classroom.

PICTURE MAKE UP DAY will be on September 25th in H-1

PRACTICE SAT ON SEPT 19TH-- Seniors!  Are you stressing about the SATs?  Before you take the real test, take a practice test with Ms. Jones in E5 on Sept 19th.  The test will run from 9 am to 1 pm and be held in E5.  This is NOT the PSAT; it's just a practice test that will help you prep for the real thing.  All Canyon students are welcome! 

CAREER CENTER NEWS

DARTMOUTH INFORMATION MEETING:  Dartmouth College will hold the following information meetings in the Los Angeles area:  Wed., Sept. 30 at Marymount High School in Los Angeles at 7:00 p.m. and Thurs., Oct. 1 at Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena at 7:00 p.m.  You may RSVP at http://inyourcity.dartmouth.edu/infosessions/ or stop by the Career Center for additional information.

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY INCORMATION SESSIONS:  NYU will host information sessions in Pasadena (9/26) and Santa Monica (9/27).  Students and their parents are invited to the reception.  Information such as academics, admissions, financial aid and student life will be discussed.  Stop by the Career Center for registration information.

NATIONAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE FAIR:  Students and parents are invited to The National Christian College Fair, which will take place on Wednesday, 9/30 from 6:00 - 8:00 at Marantha High School in Pasadena.  Representatives from 30+ Christian colleges will participate!  Stop by the Career Center for additional details.

SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY MEETING THURSDAY!!  iBuenos dias!  There is a Spanish Honor Society Meeting Thursday in room D-2.  I Hasta luega!
