GENERAL

STUDENT ID Cards:  Did you give your ID card to one of our wonderful Campus Supervisors but still don't have it back yet?  Your ID might still be in the AP Office with Mrs. Haro just waiting for you to pick it up.

ATTENTION ALL DANCERS!!   CANYON DANCE TEAM WILL BE WORKING CLOSELY WITH NEW WORLD DANCE STUDIO FOR OUR FUTURE DANCE TEAM.  THE COWBOYS WILL BE HOLDING A NEW AUDITION FOR THE 09-10 DANCE TEAM AT 10 A.M. DO YOU NEED A MATH CLASS THIS SUMMER? Math Support Services offers all District math and Chemistry courses for credit, in a fun flexible format that will work around your busy schedule or a vacation. Best of all 95% of students are successful in this supportive environment where class sizes are small and tutoring is included.   All programs are parent pay, however merit and need based scholarships are available! Applications must be postmarked no later than May 22nd. KEY CLUB SENIORS:  Hours and Attendance sheets are due TODAY through  May 22.  All other members, your attendance sheets are due the same date.

CAREER CENTER NEWS

SCV YOUTH IN GOVERNMENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:  There are a limited number of SCV Youth in Government Summer Internship opportunities available.  Learn how your government affects you and how decisions are made in the City and beyond.  Interested must apply by May 22.  Stop by the Career Center for details!

UCLA VISITATION:  An admissions representative from UCLA will meet with sophomores and juniors on Wed., 5/20 at 10:30 in the Library.  Learn about the UC system and what you can do now to prepare to apply.  Pick up permission slips in the Career Center.

COC VALENCIA CAMPUS TOURS:  Are you planning to attend COC this fall?  Students may participate in campus tours every Friday through 6/12 (except 6/5) at 9:00. Stop by the Career Center for details.

SENIORS

SENIOR SIGNING PARTY:  Seniors---do you want your yearbook early?  On May 21, at lunch there is a signing party in the gym.  You will get your yearbook before anyone else, food and more.  Tickets are on sale in the ASB Office.  The cost is $8 with an ASB Card and $10 without.
