THERE WILL BE NO PA ANNOUNCEMENTS DUE TO AP TESTING
GENERAL
ACADEMIC LETTERS, LAMPS, AND BARS: Were you absent from the Academic Banquet and Ceremony last week? If so, you may pick up your academic letter, lamp, or bar from the AP office secretaries any day before school, at brunch, or lunch.
CSF MEMBERS who would like a spring '09 membership card and/or a volunteer-hours form should come to room C8 Tuesday or Wednesday at lunch only. Remember, students who will be juniors or seniors next fall will need to have completed ten hours of volunteerism in order to qualify for CSF membership. Getting the form before summer begins will allow you to get your volunteer hours signed off before the fall semester applications. Students who will be sophomores in the fall will not need volunteer hours in order to apply for membership.
KEY CLUB SENIORS: Hours and Attendance sheets are due May 18 to May 22. All other members, your attendance sheets are due the same date.

SWORD FIGHTS. DANCE-OFF, AND A PRINCESS WHO SWIMS THE CASTLE MOAT!! All this and more can be found at Canyon Theatre's production of the musical comedy "Once Upon a Mattress." Show dates are TODAY to May 16th at 7 PM in the Q-Theatre. Tickets are $12 or $10 with ASB card. Don't miss this medieval, madcap, musical adventure!

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2010- yes that’s you juniors! Are you interested in a personalized parking spot for your senior year? If you are come by the ASB office and pick up your application outside the office. There are some simple requirements this year so pick up your application early! Only 75 spots will be personalized and its first come first serve. Start your senior year off right!

ENGINEER CAREER SEMINAR: Explore careers in Engineering on Thursday, May 21 at 9:20 in the Library. Meet with an engineer from Lockheed Martin and learn about educational requirements, job duties, job outlook and more! Pick up permission slips in the Career Center.

KEY CLUB MEETING: There is a Key Club General meeting in the gym on May 14 at lunch.
SENIORS
SENIORS: The Bill Tainter Scholarship Program is a program that offers high school students with disabilities a financial opportunity to become more independent and self-sufficient through higher education. This year the program will offer five grants in the amount of $1,000 each to seniors who meet the following criteria: Students with a diagnosed learning or physical disability graduating / transitioning from high school to a 2 or 4 year college or trade school; must have at least a 2.0 GPA. Application are available at www.laccod.org Deadline is May 15.
