CHS DANCE TEAM AUDITION WILL BE SATURDAY, MAY 2. A MANDATORY PARENT MEETING WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, APRIL 21...STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFO AFTER SPRING BREAK!
STUDENT TALENT RALLY: Got Talent??? Are you interested in performing in Canyon’s student talent rally--it is May 22. If you are interested, come to the ASB Office to sign up. The Sign –Up sheet will be posted starting next week. Don’t hold back that hidden talent.
PROM TICKETS ON SALE: ALL upperclassmen can now purchase Prom Tickets. Cost: $200 per couple with ASB card and $210 per couple without ASB card. The price goes up on April 22—it will be a flat rate of $235 per couple.
GOLD STAR BRIGADE FUNDRAISER: TODAY from 5-9 p.m. at Vincenzo’s Pizza, 20701 Plum Cyn Rd, Saugus. The Jazz band will play from 6-7 p.m.
ATTENTION JUNIOR POWDER PUFF PLAYERS! Make sure to see Mrs. Seidenkranz in D-2 before Tuesday, April 21st. Shirts are being ordered and we need your size!
CAREER CENTER NEWS
VENTURA/TRI COUNTY NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR: Admission representatives from 120+ colleges and universities will participate in the Ventura/Tri County National College Fair on Wednesday, April 22 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Students will also have an opportunity to attend a variety of workshops. Pick up flyers in the Career Center.

ATTENTION SPEECH AND DEBATE: There will be an important meeting on Tuesday, April 21, at 12:15 p.m. in H1.
TRI-M MEETING: There will be a Tri-M meeting for all members TODAY in the Band Room at lunch.

SENIORS
SENIORS: Planning to attend CSUN this fall? You MUST electronically submit an "Intent to Register" online at www.csun.edu no later than 5PM on June 15th. Counseling office has more details on how to file and also about the English Placement Test & Entry Level Math test.
HEY SENIOR COWBOYS: Have you enjoyed your years at Canyon? Will you be hard to forget? You can apply for the Canyon Staff Scholarship. Pick up an application in the Counseling office or in
room G-105.
THE CANYON ACADEMIC BOOSTER CLUB is awarding scholarships to Canyon Seniors who plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college, and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Note, your parents must be members of the Academic Booster Club to be considered. Extracurricular activities and community service involvement will be evaluated. Please pick up this one-page application from the Counseling office, due to be returned by May 1, 2009.
