GENERAL
VAL-O-GRAMS: Wednesday is the last day to buy a Val-o-gram. Don't forget your special someone with this extra special treat! See a choir student or come to the choir room today.
GET HITCHED: On Thursday, February 12, get hitched by the King of Rock and Roll!! Come to the Outdoor Stage at lunch.
PARKING PASSES: There are a few parking passes left. You can get them at the ASB office.
HEALTH OFFICE: When you are ill, you must get a pass from your teacher to come up to the Health Office. It is there that contact will be made with your parents/guardians to arrange for you to go home. Do not call or text your parents or guardians from the classroom expecting to be summoned to the Health Office.
ATTENTION STUDENTS!! KEY CLUB: Hey Canyon High!!! Key Club is doing a coin drive for Pennies for Patients. Please donate your coins to your second period class. The class that has collected the most money by February 20 wins a donut party.
JAZZ/POP AUDITIONS--Jazz/Pop auditions are only today after school. Acts will be taken in the order of arrival. The choir room will be the waiting/rehearsal area.
RENAISSANCE CARD PERK! Hey all you Renaissance card holders!! Don’t forget to bring your Renaissance Card and I.D. TODAY-- because the first 100 students to walk into J-1 will get free pizza at lunch!!! See you there!!!!
ATTENTION CSF MEMBERS: We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to the absence of our advisor, we are collecting applications and dues through TODAY.
FOOD DRIVE: Listen up all 3rd period classmates. ASB is holding their annual food drive all through the month of February. Lets help out those who are less fortunate by bringing in canned food and sealed toiletries. The 3rd period class with the most items will win a bagel party.

GROUNDHOG JOB SHADOWING DAY EVALUATIONS: Attention Groundhog Job shadowing Day students: Please remember to return your Student Evaluation Forms into the Career Center by 2/11 so that you may be entered in a gift card drawing.
MILITARY CAREERS SEMINAR: Are you considering a career in the U.S. Military? Meet with representatives from the Air Force, Army, California Army National Guard, Marines and Navy on Thurs., 2/26 at 11:25 in the Library and learn about each branch! Pick up permission slips in the Career Center.

SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY: There will be a meeting today at lunch in room D-2. Please come by and join us.
KEY CLUB: Hey Key Clubbers!! There is a general meeting on Wednesday, February 11 at lunch in the gym.
SENIORS
SENIORS: You can still apply to CSU East Bay (Hayward Hills overlooking San Francisco). They will accept applications through March 1st. Submit your application at www.csumentor.edu. Their total fee package is the lowest compared to all Bay area universities. Good luck!!
SENIORS: The Santa Clarita Emblem Club is offering $800 scholarships for Santa Clarita Valley seniors. Students must complete an application, write a personal statement, and provide letters of recommendation. Visit the counseling office for an application and more information.Deadline is Feb. 15.
SENIORS:AXA Achievement Scholarship: Seniors are eligible to receive a $10,000 scholarship from the AXA Foundation. Seniors must be a US Citizen or legal resident, plan to attend a two or four-year college, demonstrate ambition and self-drive, and have a recommendation from an adult professional. SENIORS: If you are a community-minded senior then Bank of American wants you to participate as a Bank of America Student Leader. You'll have the opportunity to participate in an 8-week paid summer internship, take part in an all-expense-paid week in Washington, D.C. at the Student Leadership Summit, and learn how non-profit groups work together to create a positive impact on our community.
