GENERAL

 

ROP:  ANY STUDENT WHO HAS A ROP CLASS, MUST PICK UP THEIR ENROLLMENT FORM FROM MRS. OKRONICK ASAP

 

ATTENTION CSF MEMBERS:  Application and hour sheets are available to be picked up during lunch in room C-8, from Friday, January 16 to Friday, January 23.  The completed forms are due

Tuesday, January 27 to Friday, January 30.

 

MINIMUM DAY:  All Canyon students are reminded that when we have minimum day, they may NOT visit other campuses, including Sierra Vista.  Other schools are in full day session and it is a trespassing violation to be on their campus while their school is in session.  Avoid disciplinary action and a trespassing ticket!  Do not visit other schools when Canyon has a minimum day!

 

CAREER CENTER NEWS

 

MAKE-UP ARTIST CAREER SEMINAR:  A representative from Make Up Designory (MUD) will meet with students interested in learning about their school and a career as a make-up artist.  The presentation will take place on Thurs., 1/22 at 8:15 in Room H1.  Pick up permission slips in the Career Center.

 

MEETINGS

 

Today the ANIME club is meeting in G-220 at lunch...see you there!

 

OPERATION US: We will be meeting this Friday at 12:30 in E3. Information about the January 21st presentation to the school board and the February 5th Rio Vista presentation will be provided.  Operation US students, see you Friday at lunch!

 

SENIORS

 

SENIORS: Do you or any of your family members work in the food industry (retail supermarket companies, manufacturers, brokers or distributors)? Than you can be eligible for The William S. Davila Scholarship Fund. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,500! Please visit www.sms.scholarshipamerica.org/davila for an application and additional information! SENIORS: Consider applying to Wheaton College and you can be eligible for their merit and need-based scholarships of up to $15,000 per year. These scholarships are renewable throughout your academic career. Wheaton College is also WAIVING ALL APPLICATION FEES through the January 15 deadline!! So, you have nothing to lose!
