GENERAL

MINIMUM DAY:  All Canyon students are reminded that when we have minimum day, they may NOT visit other campuses, including Sierra Vista.  Other schools are in full day session and it is a trespassing violation to be on their campus while their school is in session.  Avoid disciplinary action and a trespassing ticket!  Do not visit other schools  when Canyon has a minimum day!

ALL STUDENTS:  Never leave valuable items unattended anywhere on this campus.  This includes your personal belongings like your backpacks, purses, wallets, electronic devices and ID cards.  Additionally, never leave unattended anything that you are responsible for such as your textbooks, calculators, and other materials loaned out to you from the school.  You are financially responsible for replacement of stolen items if left unattended.

SENIORS: Do you or any of your family members work in the food industry (retail supermarket companies, manufacturers, brokers or distributors)? Than you can be eligible for The William S. Davila Scholarship Fund. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,500! Please visit www.sms.scholarshipamerica.org/davila for an application and additional information! SENIORS: Consider applying to Wheaton College and you can be eligible for their merit and need-based scholarships of up to $15,000 per year. These scholarships are renewable throughout your academic career. Wheaton College is also WAIVING ALL APPLICATION FEES through the January 15 deadline!! So, you have nothing to lose! SENIORS: The University of Michigan is also passing out cash!! $20,000 per year!
