GENERAL

MR CANYON:  Want to see Eye Candy???  Then come out and watch your Senior Boys strut their stuff in the Mr. Canyon pageant TONIGHT in the Main Gym.  Tickets are on sale in the ASB Office.  $4 if you have an ASB Card, $5 without an ASB Card and $6 at the door. 

WANT TO HELP SAVE A LIFE?  Come to a Bone Marrow Screening for Nate Sparks on Saturday, Dec.6th from 10AM to 3PM in room S-2.  You must be 18 or older.  The Sparks family will be very appreciative of your support.  Thank you.

HOLIDAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST Sunday December 7th at the Santa Clarita Lanes. $3 From 8-12 Come Support the Swim Team!

CANYON THEATRE PRESENTS Ken Ludwig's "MOON OVER BUFFALO," a hilarious farce full of slapstick comedy, mistaken identity, and general mayhem. Free student show is Today at 3:15. Evening performances are Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 and cost $10 or $8 with ASB card. All performances are in the Q-Theatre.

SPRING SCHEDULES:  You will receive a copy of your tentative spring schedule on Thursday, Dec.11th.  You will be able to see your counselor from Dec. 11th through the 19th, if there are problems with your schedule. There will be no program changes when we return on Jan. 12th!  Ü

BOYS TENNIS:  Any boys interested in joining the boy’s tennis team report to the tennis courts after school through Dec. 5th. for tryouts.

CAREER CENTER NEWS

SUMMER PROGRAM AT PEPPERDINE:  Juniors are invited to apply to a summer program, which will take place at Pepperdine University.  Students will enroll in 6 - 7 units of undergraduate work, receive college credit and live in undergraduate residences.  Stop by the Career Center for details.

MEETINGS

THE MATH CLUB will hold its first meeting TODAY at lunch in room G-208. All those interested are welcome to attend.

NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY MEETING TODAY at Lunch in room T4. Everyone must attend!

YOUNG REPUBLICANS will meet TODAY in Room A-6 at lunch.  Everyone is welcome.  Please come and bring your lunch and we'll talk about the state of politics in America today and what should be done to straighten it all out!

SWIM TEAM MEETING IN A LECTURE TODAY @ LUNCH! This Meeting is mandatory for all Swimmers. If you cannot make the meeting you must speak to Coach Himes immediately.

JOY CLUB:  There will be a JOY CLUB meeting TODAY in B-7 at lunch.  We will be making a list for the Rose Bowl Parade Float.  New members always welcome!

STUDENT TASK FORCE meets every Thursday in room G-201.

SENIORS: Are you planning to attend Cal State Northridge?? Then you could be one of the 30 new freshmen eligible for the $3,000 Honors at Entrance program. A minimum weighted GPA of 3.75 is one of the enrollment requirements and you can check out the rest by e mailing the scholarship office at [email protected] Deadline is December 23, 2008
