SWIM TEAM TRYOUTS will be held Nov 18th 19th and the 20th from 3:15 till 4:00 at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center. Questions? Talk to Coach Himes in Room T-1

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: HOMECOMING TICKETS are on sale NOW in the ASB office. $15 with ASB card, $17 without ASB, and $20 at the door. Buy your tickets today!

BASEBALL TRYOUTS will be held Nov. 24, 25, and 26. Interested students must have a complete physical examination. Pick up physical forms at the baseball field any day from 3:00 to 4:00"

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Author, Gene Del Vecchio will be here on Thursday, Nov. 6 in the library at 10:15. Remember to have your 4th period teachers sign your permission slip and present that to Mrs. Limbaugh in the library on Thursday. Your attendance will be taken care of by Mrs. Limbaugh. See you Thursday.

ATTENTION ALL CSF MEMBERS: If you plan on applying for CSF Spring semester, please stop by room C-8 for your hours sheet. Freshmen are required to do 5 hours and Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are required to do 10 hours.

CANYON HOME FOOTBALL GAMES: Hey Cowboys- here are some reminders for our home games. NO Body Paint or Noise Makers are allowed. Also, NO Skateboards or Scooters are allowed anywhere on campus, which includes the parking lot and inside the gates of the football games. Also, please be reminded that once you enter the game and leave –YOU MAY NOT RE-ENTER. Bring what you need for the evening with you when you arrive at the game.

CAREER CENTER NEWS

ROTARY JOB SHADOWING DAY: Attention Juniors and Seniors: Learn about the real world of work at Rotary Job Shadowing Day on Wed., Dec. 10. Visit sites such as veterinarian, dentist, insurance agent and more! There are approximately 16 sites to choose from. Stop by the Career Center ASAP for an application. STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION.



MEETINGS

OPERATION US: Our next presentation is on Monday November 17th at Golden Oak Elementary School. If you would like to attend the Golden Oak presentation see Ms. Mast in E3 for a permission slip no later than this Friday. Completed permission slips will be collected at our next meeting: Wednesday November 12th at lunch.

YOUNG REPUBLICANS will meet today in Room A-6 at lunch. Everyone is welcome. Please come and bring your lunch and we'll talk about the election and begin planning a strategy for 2012.

STUDENT TASK FORCE: The Student Task Force meets every Thursday in room G-201.

SENIORS

FIRST TIME FRESHMEN HAVE UNTIL NOVEMBER 30TH TO APPLY TO CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE FOR FALL 2009: California State University, Northridge, will cease accepting applications for first-time freshmen for Fall 2009 at the end of the priority filing period after the close of business on Sunday, November 30th, 2008. The early closure is necessary due to the large number of students seeking admission to Cal State Northridge during the initial application period.
