ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Homecoming tickets are on sale NOW in the ASB office. $15 with ASB card, $17 without ASB, and $20 at the door. Off campus guest pass can be picked up at the office as well, but they need to be turned in with money by October 31st. No off campus guests will be allowed in at the door! Buy your tickets today!
NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE MEETING/PRESENTATION for students and parents at Canyon High School Library, Wednesday October 22nd from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
KEY CLUB EVENT: Hey Key Clubbers!! The Hunger Defense Fund is hosting, MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY, AT Ralph’s on October 25. If you would like to participate in this event, go to V-1 for more information.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Mr. Gene Del Vecchio, author of The Pearl of Anton and The Sword of Anton, will be visiting on Thursday, Nov. 6 during 4th period (10:15). He will be speaking about how writers get published. We will be selling copies of his books for $13.00 and you can get them signed by the author. To attend the visitation, pick up a permission slip in the library.
CHOIR FUNDRAISER: Come to Jersey Mike’s in Canyon Country on Wednesday, October 22
from 5-8 p.m. to help support all of our Choirs.
SWIM TEAM FUNDRAISER: The Swim Team will be selling delicious homemade items at Lombardi Ranch on Sunday, October 26 from 9 am- 5 pm.

CAREER CENTER NEWS
PREVIEW DAY AT CSUN: CSUN will host a Preview Day on Sat., 10/25 from 8:30 to 2:00. Students will have an opportunity to take campus tours, receive application assistance, attend workshops regarding and financial aid. Stop by the Career Center for details!
CAL ARTS VISITATION: Meet with an admissions representative from Cal Arts on Mon., 11/3 at 10:30 in Room H1 and learn about programs in music, photography, animation, film/video, theater and more! Pick up permission slips in the Career Center
MEETINGS
OPERATION US: Completed Mint Canyon permission slips can be turned in to Ms. Mast in E3 as soon as they are complete to guarantee your slot. We will be meeting Wednesday October 22 at lunch to select and practice roles, and to distribute Leona Cox permission slips.
SPANISH CLUB: There is a Spanish Club meeting TODAY at lunch in room D-2. It is required for the presenting group from Spanish Honor Society to come to the meeting.

FIRST TIME FRESHMEN HAVE UNTIL NOVEMBER 30TH TO APPLY TO CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE FOR FALL 2009: California State University, Northridge, will cease accepting applications for first-time freshmen for Fall 2009 at the end of the priority filing period after the close of business on Sunday, November 30th, 2008. The early closure is necessary due to the large number of students seeking admission to Cal State Northridge during the initial application period. Freshmen applicants can apply online by visiting www.csumentor.edu. CAP & GOWN AND GRADUATION: It's time to start preparing for Graduation. The first step is to order your Cap & Gown, Graduation Announcements, and other senior memorabilia.

CSUN VISITATION: Attention Seniors: Meet with a representative from CSUN on Wed., 10/22 and learn about CSUN and the Cal State System. The meeting will take place in the Library at 10:30. Pick up permission slips in the Career Center.
