GENERAL
STUDENTS: You MUST have your ID card in order to leave campus at lunch. No more schedules will be signed to allow juniors and seniors to leave campus. If you forget your ID card, you must wait until 1:00 at which point you may be permitted to leave with an appropriately printed schedule. If you have lost your ID card, you must purchase a new one for $10 in the ASB office, and then take your receipt to the Textbook center on Tuesdays and Thursdays only at brunch or lunch.
SAT PREP INFORMATION MEETING: There will be a SAT prep information session in the Library at 7pm on Wednesday October fifteenth. Find out about how a prep course can make a positive impact of your SAT score. Math Support has been able to raise previous combined scores up to 150 points.
KEY CLUB DUES: Hey Key Clubbers!! Fall Rally money is due this Friday, October 17!!! Turn in your green envelopes to room V-1.
IMPROV TEAM AND FANS: The Canyon High Improv Team will be performing in a competition with the Hart High Improv team TODAY from 6-8 PM at Hart High School. Admission is free. Come support Canyon in a night of hilarity!
KEY CLUB EVENT: Hey Key Clubbers!!! There is the Rubber Ducky event on Thursday, October 16 at Castaic Lake. For more information, go to room V-1.
DISNEYLAND CONTEST: Come purchase your ticket for a chance to win 4 Youth Disneyland tickets, good until December 11. They are $1 a chance and can be purchased from any ASB Renaissance student. Winners will be drawn on October 22 and the tickets will be delivered the next day. Only $1 for a chance of 4 Disneyland tickets.
CONGRATULATIONS to Dylan Belardinelli, Kelly Boardman, Gina Kodel and Jeff Kodel for being selected for the Southern California Honor Choir. About 650 students from all over Southern California auditioned for this choir, but only 200 were chosen. They will perform in the Honor Choir concert on Sat. Nov. 22 at Santa Monica High School. Way to go!!

SAT EXPRESS: Do you need prep help fast? Kaplan is offering a condensed course for those who have limited time to prepare & want a good basic skills review. Classes will be at Golden Valley starting Sat. 10/18. Informational flyers are available in Counseling office. :)
TICO’S TACOS: Come out and support ASB TODAY at Tico’s Tacos, previously Wanna Iguana. Bring your flyers all day.

CAL LUTHERN UNIVERSITY VISITATION: Meet with an admissions representative from California Lutheran University on Tues., 10/21 at 9:20 in the Career Center. Stop by the Career Center for a permission slip.
PREVIEW DAY AT CSUN: CSUN will host a Preview Day on Sat., 10/25 from 8:30 to 2:00. Students will have an opportunity to take campus tours, receive application assistance, attend workshops regarding and financial aid. Stop by the Career Center for details!
FIDM VISITATION: A representative from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising will meet with students on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 11:20 in Room H1. Learn about programs such as Digital Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Jewelry Design and more! Pick up a permission slip in the Career Center.

ANIME CLUB: Today the Anime Club is meeting in room G-220 at lunch…see you there!
ALL CSF MEMBERS come to room C-8 during lunch on Thursday or Friday for your CSF membership card. Please bring your ID card.
STUDENT TASK FORCE: The Student Task Force meets every Thursday in room G-201.
OPERATION US will be meeting this week on Thursday in E3 at lunch. We will be preparing for our upcoming presentations. See you there!
BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP: We are meeting on Friday in H1 during lunch. We are reading to page 166. See you there.
SENIORS

SENIORS: The Ron Brown Scholar Program awards scholarships to academically talented, highly motivated African American students who plan to pursue undergraduate degrees full time!
