GENERAL
BOYS’ ATHLETIC GOLF TEAM: All boys interested in participating on Canyon's Athletic Golf Team please attend an informational meeting today, Sept. 11 at 12:30 (lunch) in the B-Core.
TONIGHT is the Service Academy Orientation Program hosted by Congressman, Buck McKeon. It will run from 7-9pm at the Hart High School Cafeteria. Interested students and parents are invited to meet representatives from all Service Academies, plus representatives from the Army, Navy, and Air Force ROTC Scholarship Programs.
DRESS CARD: Students are reminded about the dress code at Canyon High School. Crop tops, halter tops, low cut blouses, see-through or backless shirts and swim suit tops are NOT ALLOWED!! Also, gang styles, accessories, symbols and clothing modifications are not allowed. T-shirts with graphics which depict anti-social behavior, controlled substances, alcohol beverages, violence, or sexual activities are prohibited.
ATTENTION ALL POTENTIAL TRI-M MEMBERS--Today, Thursday, is the last day to turn in completed applications and teacher recommendations. Dues are $10. Please return all forms and dues by the end of school today.
SCHOOL PICTURES ARE IN and can be picked up in the ASB office before school, brunch and lunch in J-7
KEY CLUB HOURS DUE: Returning Key Club members, your hours are due by the 12th of September.
SAT PRACTICE TEST: Attention juniors and seniors! Revolution Prep is offering a practice SAT on Saturday, September 13th, right here on campus- and the best part is the test is only $20. The real SAT costs nearly $30 more! Bring your check made out to Canyon ASB by Friday the 12 to Ms. Jones in E5. Questions? Stop by to see her anytime! This is a great deal, but there's limited space, so act quickly!

THE YOUNG REPUBLICAN CLUB will be meeting TODAY in Room A-6 at lunch. Bring your lunch and be open to discussing the up-coming election, the candidates and the issues. Everyone is welcome!
THESPIAN SOCIETY MEMBERS: The first meeting for the International Thespian Society will be TODAY at lunch in the Q-Theatre. Please be prompt.
STUDENT TASK FORCE: The Student Task Force meets every Thursday in room G-201.

PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP FOR SENIORS: The FRIENDS of Arts Education at the Cerritos Center are offering scholarships to seniors who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts.
