Advanced Placement

The Advanced Placement (AP) program is the national standard for academic rigor and college readiness, providing high school students with the opportunity to take college-level courses in a high school setting. AP courses provide the level of rigor that best prepares students for post-secondary success.
 
In the 2016-2017 school year, Canyon High had 375 students take AP exams with 272 students receiving passing scores (3 or higher). Canyon High is very proud to offer the following AP courses:
