GENERAL

NHS:  Attention all 10th and 11th graders interested in joining National Honors Society.  Letters of invitation are going out this week to your 2nd or 3rd classes.  If you receive a letter, you must attend a lunch meeting this Thursday in the Q Theater to pick up your application packet.  National Honors Society is a prestigious organization based on scholastic achievement, character, and service.  If you qualify look for your letter, and then make sure to attend the mandatory meeting in the Q theater lunch on Thursday.  If you have a time conflict, see Mr. Cuny in C-6.

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS AND JUNIORS--Prom Tickets are on sale---web store only!!

AP ECONOMICS REVIEW: If you took AP Economics in the fall semester and are planning on taking the AP Exam next month, Mr. Smith will be conducting AP reviews every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at lunch in room A-5. The reviews will begin on Monday, April 21, and run thru Wednesday, May 14.

THE UCLA BLOOD DRIVE IS BACK:  The blood drive will be held on Thursday April 24.  Sign up in Mr. Cuny's room, C-6.  For giving blood you get a cookie and a free movie ticket.  Be brave, give blood, and save a life.  Go to Mr. Cuny's room, C-6, during brunch and lunch to sign-up.

THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT is going to the National College Fair on May 1st.  There will be over 200 colleges in attendance.  If you would like to attend, the cost is 10 dollars.  Only sixty students will be able to attend, so stop by the counseling office today!

MEETINGS

HEY COWBOYS, TOMORROW is a GSA Meeting at lunch in room C-4.  Please note that this is a special meeting to prepare for DAY OF SILENCE which is this Friday.  Please come to learn more of what the Day of Silence is for.  Also, we have summit papers, since the deadline is April 25^th, hope to see you there!

HEY S.O.S. MEMBERS! We will be having a meeting TODAY in G217. If you'd like to be an officer next year, pick up an application from Mrs. Gibbs as soon as possible!

DFYIT meeting in E4 Thursday at lunch - go grab your lunch and come join us.
