Hello! My name is Tiffiny Hargrave. I was born in San Diego, but grew up in Lake Arrowhead. After graduating from Rim of the World High School in 2002, I headed to Azusa Pacific University and pursued my BA there. Upon graduating from APU, I went to Brasil for a month and worked with kids in a favela, in Sao Paulo. While there, my team and I taught English to kids, adolescents, and adults. Shortly after returning from Brasil, I moved to the Czech Republic and lived in the beautiful city of Prague. While there, I obtained my TESOL certificate by teaching English to Czech natives. Once back in the states, I attended the University of Redlands and obtained my teaching credential. I taught at a small charter school in San Jacinto, CA for a year and a half. I then transferred to another charter school in Coachella, CA where I taught for four years (2011-2015). I was at Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, CA from 2015- 2017. Now, I find myself at Canyon High School and I am very excited to be here and work with the Canyon students. Go Cowboys!
Earned my MA in Art Education from Boston University in December 2016.
I love art, but more than that,I love getting students pumped about art!
