Ms. Anderson has served as a teacher in the William S. Hart Union High School District since 2005 at both the junior high and high school levels. She taught at Sierra Vista Junior High from 2005-2012 and Golden Valley from 2012-2015. During this time Ms. Anderson held a number of leadership roles including Professional Development Coach, Family Resource Program Coordinator, Department Chair, WASC Group Leader, Common Core Pilot Teacher and Intervention Coordinator. She also served as an Administrative Intern and Summer School Administrator.
 
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Ms. Anderson worked for The Walt Disney Company in Employee Communications. She earned her California Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from California State University, Northridge. Ms. Anderson earned a Master's degree in Educational Management from the University of La Verne in addition to an Administrative Services Credential.
 
In her free time, Ms. Anderson enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach with her three children, Lia, Makaina, and Xander.
