SUMMER SCHOOL APPLICATIONS are now available on-line only at canyonhighcowboys.org. Listed under News & Announcements you'll find everything you need. Turn completed forms into the summer school basket located on the receptionist’s desk in the Main Office.

ATTENTION, NHS  MEMBERS AND SENIOR OFFICERS.  There is a meeting Wednesday, May 27th

in E-5 at lunch. We will be nominating next year's officers. Please, be on time. 

THE PONY EXPRESS: Are you interested in web design and social media? How about photography and drawing? Do you want to get more involved on campus and earn A-G credit at the same time?  Journalism and The Pony Express are looking to recruit all interested Canyon students for next year; we need staff writers, editors, social media experts, and more. Please talk to your English teacher and your counselor if you are interested in adding this class to your schedule. 

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2016!  Paperwork for next years personalized SENIOR parking spots and design ideas for Senior shirts are now available outside the ASB Office! 

HEY COWBOYS!  Have you already bought your YEARBOOK?  If you are not sure, check the list in the ASB Office.  Yearbooks are almost sold out --if you plan on buying one don't wait --cost is $100.  

TUESDAY, MAY 26 is Yearbook Distribution in the Aux Gym, 2:00 to 3:45.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 27 is the MAKE-UP DAY- in room S-4 from 2:00 to 3:30

Yearbooks will NOT be available during lunch or brunches.

ACADEMIC AWARD WINNERS!  If you were not able to attend the ceremony, please see Mrs. Nelson in the Assistant Principals office during BRUNCH or LUNCH ONLY to pick up your certificate.  The deadline to pick up your certificate is June 4th.  Congratulations!

HONORS ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY - If you are taking Honors Anatomy and Physiology next year, stop by G-105 to pick up information.

FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES, DO YOU SPEAK SPANISH? - Are you interested in fulfilling your Foreign Language requirements? Come see Sra. Lopez in BB2 or Sra. Santos in D6 during brunch or lunch to see if you can be placed in an Accelerated Spanish class. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

SPRING BREAK 2016: Anyone interested in traveling to Spain with Señora Lewis during spring break, go to room D7 for information and sign up right away.  Space is limited.

MEETINGS

SPECIAL OLYMPICS: There will be an Officers Meeting TODAY at lunch in room E-4.  All OLD and NEW officers must attend.

The last DFYIT meeting of the year will be held May 21 at lunch in H-1.  We will be having pizza.  If you plan to attend the meeting, it is very important that you let Mrs. Parks know by Monday May 18 so that we can make sure to order enough pizza. This meeting is only for students who have been DFYIT members this year.

BIBLE CLUB:  This Thursday at lunch, Aaron Miller, high school pastor from Grace Baptist Church will speak to the Bible club.  Come to the A Lecture Hall and have some great food and good fellowship.  See what it's all about!

SENIORS

YEARBOOKS—SENIOR DISTRIBUTION DAY:  Friday, May 22 is the Senior Signing Party at lunch in the Main Gym.  $8.00 ticket includes senior pen (and stylus) pizza and soda.  Tickets are on sale this week in ASB, Yearbook staffers and your favorite senior teachers.  Distribution Day the cost per ticket is $10.00.

SENIOR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS DUE BY JUNE 4th. Request one be sent to all Universities and Colleges you are interested in attending, including COC. White request forms are located in front of the Registrar's Office.  If you have any questions don't hesitate to come by and ask. Transcripts will be mailed out on June 18th.

SENIORS: ALL purchases can be made with cash, money orders, and credit cards only. NO checks please.
