GENERAL
JAZZ/POP AUDITIONS--IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! The date for Jazz/Pop auditions has been changed from Feb. 25th to Feb. 26th. Come to the Q Choir Room to sign up for an audition space to be reserved. You are not reserving a specific time, only a spot to be held for you. The auditions will be first come first served on Feb. 26th beginning at 3:15 p.m. in the Temporary Band Room, S-3.
COC INFORMATION SESSION: A representative from College of the Canyons will be on campus Monday, February 23. If you have questions and want answers, please come to the Library at the beginning of 4th period on Monday. Please sign up in the Counseling Office today.
HEY ALL CSF MEMBERS: The due date for dues has been extended to TODAY. As always, dues will be collected in the library at lunch all this week! Thank you!
THE VINCENZO’S FOOD FUNDRAISER (on Lyons) for YES I CAN has been moved to February 25th—bring your flyer or a picture of it—this is an all-day event.
SIGNUPS FOR 3 ON 3 intramural basketball will take place this week. All skill levels are welcome! Signup in C-5 at both brunches and lunch.
ATHLETIC BAGS: ARE NO LONGER allowed to be stored in the Office. Talk to your coach about getting a sports locker or storing your bag in the coach’s classroom. Thank you for your cooperation.

SENIORS-If you plan to enroll full-time in a four-year college or university and major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business with an interest in the automotive industry, The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is offering 50 scholarships each up to $25, 000 a year. SENIORS: Would a scholarship in the amount of $1000 help you pursue your educational dreams? The Jacob Zamora Memorial Foundation Scholarship Application is available in Canyon's Counseling Office. The scholarship is open to students with a cumulative GPA ranging from 2.50-3.40 The application deadline is March 9, 2015. Don't miss out on this opportunity for FREE MONEY!
THE CALIFORNIA SCHOOL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (CSEA) is awarding over 50 scholarships in the amount of $1000 each. If your parent belongs to CSEA, you need to head to the Counseling Office for an application. The application deadline is March 1, 2015.
THE CHEN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM is focused on helping economically-challenged youth fulfill their dreams of obtaining higher education. Students who meet the criteria may receive one of 10, $2000 renewable scholarships. Applications are due March 31, 2015. Please visit:

THE TAIWANESE AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND is offering 14- $2,500 scholarships to students who meet the criteria. Students must be US citizens AND direct blood descendants of a Taiwanese citizen. Applications are due March 31, 2015. Please visit : www.TAScholarshipFund.org
SENIORS: You may qualify for $7500-$1000 if your parent is employed by a police or fire department. SENIORS: The Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation will award up to $10,000 in scholarship funds to local graduating seniors interested in pursuing a career related to education.
