THERE WILL BE A BOYS GOLF TRYOUT MEETING on Friday, October 24 at the beginning of lunch in room B-4. Anyone interested in trying out for the boys golf team must attend.

ATTENTION COWBOYS:  Please be aware that any Halloween costumes that will be worn at school cannot violate dress code policy.  Shorts and skirts cannot be excessively short and shirts cannot show your midriff.  In addition, costumes cannot be excessively gory or bloody.  Lastly, you CANNOT wear any masks at school.

DFYIT:  TODAY former Canyon athlete, Nate Longshore, will be speaking in the Gym. He will begin speaking at 1:00.  Please grab your lunch and join us!  This opportunity to hear Nate speak is open to all Canyon students and is being sponsored by the DFYIT club. Also, please don't forget that this is Socktober!  We are partnering with Family Promise to collect as many new pairs of socks as possible during the month of October.  Again while this is sponsored by DFYIT we would appreciate all donations - you don't have to be a club member to help this worthy cause - just bring in a new pair of socks - adult or child - bring to the assembly or bring to A-3 at any time during the month of October.
