GENERAL
GOOD MORNING STUDENTS: Last year the visitors from WASC commented that ours was the cleanest campus they had ever seen. We need your help to maintain such a great reputation! Please throw your trash in trash cans and your recyclable bottles in the blue recycle bins. Thank you!
JUNIORS AND SENIORS: You can still sign up for the 1st period Graphic Design Class. Just check with your counselor. Do it today.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO Paris and Rome with Señora Lewis during spring break, come to room D7 for information.
CANYON FOOTBALL GAMES: A reminder to students that once you enter the football game and leave-YOU MAY NOT RE-ENTER. If you need a sweater, blanket etc., remember to bring it in with you when you arrive. Footballs, Skateboards, and Scooters are NOT allowed in the stadium or parking lot—DO NOT BRING THEM WITH YOU!!! Noisemakers are not allowed per CIF regulations and that using Noisemakers can result in a forfeit of the game. ANY inappropriate attire (clothing, accessories, headgear or body paint) will result in entrance refusal and possible removal if non-compliant.
NO ONE IS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD AT THE END OF THE GAME
REMINDER: TEXTBOOK DAMAGE WAIVER FORMS ARE DUE BY SEPT 5TH. DROP IT OFF IN THE BLUE BIN AT THE LIBRARY.
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: If you are not currently enrolled in an ROP Class, there are still a few classes available. See Mrs. Gaines in the ROP office and sign up now!
HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY: Are you 17 or older? Would you like an opportunity to work in the Hospitality Industry? If your answers are yes, you should consider enrolling in the Hotel/Restaurant Management class. See Mrs. Gaines in the ROP/Career Office for more information.
CSF – Bring your complete application for CSF to the library this week during lunch only. CSF applicants are expected to strictly adhere to all deadlines.

TRYOUTS
ATTENTION BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS: Tryouts will be held August 27th and 28th. From 3:30 to 5:30 at Sierra Vista. Any player interested in playing for Canyon this year needs to attend all four days of tryouts. Scheduling conflicts need to be worked out with Coach Benavidez prior to tryouts. Coach Benavidez can be found contacted via email at [email protected].

POKEMON CLUB: Pokemon Club will be out for Club Rush today during lunch! If you like Pokemon and want to reminisce your childhood, join us on Club Rush day for more details!

LATINO DANCE CLUB-Club Latino de Baile: Are you interested in showing your pride on Mexican traditional dances, or would you simply like to learn how to dance Latino music, such as cumbia, salsa, and merengue? Come and join us weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in room AA1. Let's have some fun! Experience is not required. Hope to see you there!
