Math Rules!! If you are interested in joining the Math Honor Society there will be a MANDATORY informational meeting at lunch in Mrs. Denny's room G216 on Tuesday August 26th. Come see how fun math can be!!
Anyone interested in signing up for INTRAMURAL DODGE BALL tournament please sign up in C5 at brunch or lunch by the end of this week. Tournament will be teams of 6 players and will take place Tuesday and Thursday at lunch next week
REMINDER: TEXTBOOK DAMAGE WAIVER FORMS ARE DUE BY SEPT 5TH. DROP IT OFF IN THE BLUE BIN AT THE LIBRARY
MEN’S CHAMBER ENSEMBLE--If you wanted to join the Men's Chamber Ensemble, but were unable to come yesterday, please come today at lunch to the A Lecture Hall.
BIBLE CLUB-The first meeting of the Bible Club will be Thursday at lunch in the A Lecture Hall. Come and enjoy some good discussion, good food, and good fellowship! Everyone is welcome!
ATTENTION STUDENTS! When you log on to the computers in the labs at the start of the year, your password has been reset to your 6-digit birthday: 2 digits for month, 2 digits for day of month, 2 digits for year. You will be prompted to change your password. Click "yes" and change it. You can keep the same password as your default. Make sure you reset your password with something you'll remember, and keep track of what you set it to.
CSF - Applications for CSF (California Scholarship Federation) will be available from TODAY to Friday Aug. 22 in the library. You can also access the application online through the library website. Look for the CSF link in the “Departments” section of the web page.
ARE YOU TAKING THE SAT SOON? Are you interested in a SAT review? If so, Canyon High is offering a SAT review for only $95! These type of classes usually cost a few hundred dollars. Tier One, one of the largest SAT prep companies in Southern California, has once again offered to hold prep classes for college bound Canyon Cowboys. Please visit the counseling office for more information.
LATINO DANCE CLUB-Club Latino de Baile: Are you interested in showing your pride on Mexican traditional dances, or would you simply like to learn how to dance Latino music, such as cumbia, salsa, and merengue? Come and join us weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in room AA1. Let's have some fun! Experience is not required. Hope to see you there!
GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS will be held TODAY & 22nd from 2:00-4:15pm in the main gym. If you have any questions please see Ms. Haayer in the Girls Locker room.
ATTENTION BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS: Tryouts will be held next week, August 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. From 3:30 to 5:30 at Sierra Vista. Any player interested in playing for Canyon this year needs to attend all four days of tryouts. Scheduling conflicts need to be worked out with Coach Benavidez prior to tryouts. SOFTBALL will be holding tryouts TODAY at 3:15 on the Softball field. If any athletes have any questions go see Mrs. Meschkat in room AA-2.
