PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY OF THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW TO PROM---they will be taken away from you: Nothing consumable, Lipstick, Makeup, perfume/cologne, drinks, food, gum, canes. If you must take medication with you –like an inhaler they must be given to Mrs. Martinez.

ATTENTION -- all students planning to take AP exams this year:
AP Pre-administration meetings will be held Tuesday April 22, Wednesday April 23rd, and Thursday April 24th at Lunch in the Q-Theater. You MUST attend one of these meetings to fill out your paperwork for the AP exam. Bring a number two pencil and something to write on!!
Any questions or problems attending please see Mrs. Bacon in the counseling office.
SUMMER SPORTS: Pick up packets for the summer sports program in the Front Office or the ASB Office. When completed turn them into the ASB Office.
JUNIORS AND SENIORS please check the bulletin boards (one by H-1 and one by the girls side gym) to see if you are eligible to win a car next Monday at COC-- football field starting at 5pm. There will be a brunch meeting on Friday (both brunches) in the gym to give out permission slips and more information. REMEMBER LAST YEAR A CANYON STUDENT WON—AND WE WOULD LOVE TO WIN AGAIN!!!
YEARBOOKS ARE GOING, GOING, AND ALMOST GONE…. Yearbook distribution is right around the corner and we have a limited number of books left to sell. This is your last, that's right we said LAST chance to purchase your 2014 book. They are $100 first come first served. Get to ASB before you get stuck looking over someone's shoulder peeping their yearbook because you forgot to order one.
ASVAB Interpretation Tuesday, April 22nd at lunch in room G228 - the computer lab. All students who took the ASVAB on March 11th at Canyon the results are in! Please report to G228 on the 22nd at lunch to receive your score and have the results explained.
AP ECONOMICS REVIEW: If you took AP Economics in the fall semester and are planning on taking the AP Exam next month, Mr. Smith will be conducting AP reviews every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at lunch in room A-5. The reviews will begin on Monday, April 21, and run thru Wednesday, May 14.
CHOIR AUDITIONS ARE COMING! Would you like to be part of something really special at Canyon, something that feels like a family? Canyon High School has one of the best and most unified choirs in the Hart district. If you would like to be part of the Men's or Women's Chamber Ensembles, the Concert Choir or Madrigals, you need to audition. Auditions will be May 7th & 8th in the A Lecture Hall. Sign up on the door of the A Lecture Hall. Come be part of the groups that traveled to Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia this year!
THE UCLA BLOOD DRIVE IS BACK: The blood drive will be held on Thursday April 24. Sign up in Mr. Cuny's room, C-6. For giving blood you get a cookie and a free movie ticket. Be brave, give blood, and save a life. Go to Mr. Cuny's room, C-6, during brunch and lunch to sign-up.

THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT is going to the National College Fair on May 1st. There will be over 200 colleges in attendance. If you would like to attend, the cost is 10 dollars. Only sixty students will be able to attend, so stop by the counseling office today!
